Last weekend I took the train to Toronto to attend a work lunch and to visit my friends. It was a whirlwind of a time and I got my fill of the city in four busy days. I had lots on my agenda – I visited my friends, saw Oceans 8 (so good, highly recommend!), and even went swimsuit shopping. One thing that was on my Toronto to-do list was the Manolo Blahnik exhibition at the Bata Shoe Museum. I’ve been to the museum before but I was excited to go back to see the Manolos! I went with my friend Julia and after we browsed the exhibit we enjoyed some cocktails across the street at Museum Tavern. It was a lovely way to spend the day in the city.

The Man behind the Manolos.
Marie Antoinette vibes.
The sketches were as beautiful as the shoes.
As Carrie Bradshaw once said as she fawned over shoes, “water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink”.
